By the end of this video, you will know exactly whether you should get the shorter or taller style of mukluks to look amazing this fall and winter season.
Now, there are five big questions that you should ask yourself to determine the best height of mukluks for you and your wardrobe. Now, the first question to ask yourself when deciding between the shorter and taller style of mukluks is, how long are your legs and how tall are you? How long are your legs? If you have very short legs, then the half mukluk, Keewatin style mukluk or half Tamarack would be a better choice. They will fit better, giving you more mobility and comfort.
If you have really long legs, then you basically have the freedom to choose whichever style that you prefer the most. However, the full length tall mukluks will likely look the most proportionate. But don't decide just based on the length of your legs alone. Be sure to consider these four other factors when deciding between the short, medium or tall style of mukluks.
This second question when deciding between the tall and shorter styles of mukluks is what conditions will you be wearing your mukluks in? It's important to consider whether you will want to be wearing your mukluks in deep snow or whether you'll only want to wear them in clear areas. If you'd like to wear your mukluks in all conditions, such as walking through the snow or shoveling your driveway for example, then you may want to choose the taller style of mukluks to ensure that the snow can't get inside your boots.
If you're planning on just wearing your mukluks around town, running errands, things like that where it's relatively clear of deep snow, then you're fairly safe to get away with just wearing the shorter styles of mukluks. So depending on where you want to wear your mukluks and what types of activities that you like to do in the fall and winter months, this will help you determine what is the best height of mukluks for you.
Do you guys have a go-to boot height that you like to stick to for your wardrobe, or do you like to mix it up with some shorter and taller styles of boots? We would love to know this. Please share with us in the comments below. Now we've looked at the first two factors for deciding which is the best height of mukluks for us, which is our height or the length of our legs and what conditions that we want to wear our boots in.
Now the third question for deciding between the tall or shorter styles of mukluks is your mobility. Now, even though most people have no problem getting the taller style of mukluks on and off, if that is a concern for you to have them really easy to get on or off, then the shorter styles of mukluks might be the best for you.
When mobility can sometimes be an issue for you or you're buying them as a gift for someone, consider how easy it is for them to slip their shoes on and off and how important that is to them. My granny for example loves the shorter style of mukluks as they are dressy, cozy and super easy for her to slip on and off in the cold winter months.
Now the fourth question when deciding between the tall and shorter style of mukluks is how warm do you want to be in your mukluks? So how warm do you want your legs to be? If you're cold all the time like me, then you will want the tallest possible mukluks to keep your feet, ankles and calves very warm. The shorter style of mukluks will keep your feet and ankles very warm though, so we promise having cold toes will never be an issue. If you're wanting the warmest possible mukluks, then we've got mukluks that are waterproof that will keep your feet warm and up to negative 32 degrees Celsius.
Now the fifth and final question to ask yourself when deciding between the tall and shorter styles of mukluks is, what impact do you want to make when you're wearing them? Shorter styles of mukluks are much more subtle. Simply because there is less boot to capture people's attention. Now, if you really want to make an impression with your mukluks, then the taller height mukluks will do just that. Now, if you haven't watched it yet, be sure to check out this video on what the best style of mukluks are.
